About Us
Three Board-Certified Pediatric Professionals Serving Great Neck & Nassau County
Pediatric Dentistry Community Drive is a pediatric dental practice in Great Neck, NY. Every doctor on our team holds board certification in pediatric dentistry, and together we bring over 50 years of combined clinical experience in children’s oral health and preventive dentistry. We serve families throughout Nassau County and welcome both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.
Our practice is built around one idea: a child who has a positive first experience at the dentist may be more likely to carry good oral health habits into adulthood. That starts at the first dental visit and carries through every appointment after it. Pediatric dentistry is a distinct field from general practice, and the difference shows in how we approach behavior, development, and dental anxiety in children at every age.
Call Pediatric Dentistry Community Drive at (516) 961-4294 today to schedule your child’s visit with a pediatric dentist in Great Neck.
Our Doctors
We’re proud to field a team whose credentials reflect extensive training and experience for families looking for a kids dentist in Great Neck or anywhere in Nassau County.
Dr. Robert N. Goldsmith, DMD
Dr. Goldsmith graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Trinity College with a dual focus in biology and neuroscience before earning his DMD from the University of Connecticut in 2004. A mission trip to Peru during dental school set the direction of his career. He completed a two-year pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2006, earning a Master of Dental Science at the same time, and achieved Pediatric Board Certification in 2010. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Association. Outside the office, he volunteers with the Global Smile Foundation, traveling to El Salvador and Ecuador to provide care to children born with cleft lip and palate.
Dr. Ron Kosinski, DMD
Dr. Kosinski is dual-trained as a pediatric dentist and a dental anesthesiologist, a combination found infrequently in private practice and directly relevant to the care we can offer here. He has over 30 years of clinical and academic experience. He began his career teaching at NYU while maintaining a private practice in Melville, NY, then served as Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at Cohen Children’s Medical Center for 17 years starting in 1997. He returned to NYU as Associate Clinical Professor in 2014 and became the inaugural Clinical Director of The Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities in 2019. In 2024, he joined Elevance Health as Medical Director Associate. He continues to see patients in private practice on Long Island and in New York City.
Dr. Jessica Lynch, DDS
Dr. Lynch earned her undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo and her DDS from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. She completed her pediatric dentistry residency at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and achieved Pediatric Board Certification in 2018. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Northeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the New York Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She volunteers with Give Kids A Smile Day and has provided dental care to underserved communities in Chile.
What to Expect at Our Great Neck Office
Choosing a pediatric dentist in Great Neck means choosing a dentist who has completed a pediatric dental residency after dental school, not just a general dentist who sees children. Board certification goes a step further, requiring passage of written and oral examinations administered by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Every doctor on our team has earned it.
For children who need extra support during treatment, our practice offers in-office sedation with a board-certified anesthesiologist. Having a dedicated anesthesiologist present separates the monitoring and sedation roles from the treatment itself. We also use digital X-rays, which can produce lower radiation exposure than traditional film, an important consideration when treating children.
We understand that cost and scheduling are real concerns for families. We offer payment plans to help manage treatment costs and flexible scheduling that includes weekend appointments and same-day availability whenever possible. Online scheduling and an online payment system are also available so you can manage your child’s care on your own time.
